We collect information you provide directly, including: account credentials (email, password), profile information, payment details (processed by our payment provider), and the PDF documents you upload for processing. We also automatically collect usage data, device information, IP addresses, and cookies.

We use your data to: provide and improve the Service; process your documents and generate audio; manage your account and subscriptions; send transactional and service-related communications; detect and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and analyze usage to improve our products. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Processed documents and generated audio are retained according to your account settings and our data retention policy. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; data portability; object to processing; and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

6. Export and Deletion

You may request an export of your data at any time. To delete your account, submit a deletion request through your account settings or by contacting us. We provide a 30-day grace period during which you may recover your account. After this period, your data is permanently deleted or anonymized.

7. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • FirebaseAuthentication and backend infrastructure. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • StripePayment processing. Stripe collects and processes payment information according to their privacy policy.
  • Google CloudText-to-speech and cloud infrastructure for document processing and audio generation.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for: session management and authentication; remembering your preferences; analyzing site traffic and usage; and improving the Service. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function.
